Entre les Murs - ZEP Learners Celebrated for Their Possibilities
In 2008, the movie Entre les Murs (translated as "The Class") took home the Palme d'Or from the Cannes Film Festival. Based on a well-received novel, the movie focuses on the day to day situations confronted by both teachers and students in a middle school located in the 20th district of Paris. This is one of the very districts whose data serves as a basis for several of the hypotheses underlying my doctoral research.
